Suntrup Hyundai South County is King of Central Region

Suntrup Hyundai South County recently received some exceptionally good news. The final March statistics are out, and Suntrup Hyundai South County is atop the entire Central Region for the month in total new Hyundai sales and Certified Pre-Owned Hyundai Sales. This is no small feat when you consider this is a region that includes six Hyundai dealerships in St. Louis alone!

It’s good to be No. 1 … really, really good. Just ask Craig and Butch Suntrup. JKR Automotive Advertising clients, Suntrup Hyundai South County racked up a total of 253 deliveries during the month; 101 used and 152 new. During the entire first quarter, Suntrup Hyundai delivered 401 new vehicles, an increase of eight percent over the 2013 first-quarter total of 373.

On October 31, 2012 Bill Hamilton retires for the third time, this time it may be for real.

At 78 years of age, Stokes Volkswagen’s Service Manager, Bill Hamilton will no longer be reporting to work. After a lifetime in the technical and mechanical arts, and having a keen understanding of human nature, he’ll be reporting to Nancy, his bride of 52 years, his rib as he likes to say (a reference to Adam’s rib).

Taylor Auto Group Opens Two Stores in One Month

On Friday August 3^rd, 2012, Taylor Auto Group launched its new store, Taylor Kia of Lima, Ohio, and on September 4^th Taylor is opening a new Hyundai dealership in Findlay, Ohio.

About a year and a half in the making, owner Steve Taylor said the decision to open the Lima Kia store made a lot of sense, “We opened the Findlay Kia store in 2010 and we noticed that we were selling quite a few Kias to people from the Lima area, about thirty cars a month they would drive up to Lima and that got us to thinking about having a more convenient place for them to get service, and also realized that since people were making a thirty mile drive, that there was good opportunity for growth.”

Melbourne, Florida. JKR client A. J. Hiers, owner, announced that February 2011 saw triple a digit increase in sales compared to the same period in 2010. The economy seems to be picking up, and that coupled with an aggressive radio campaign is reaping big benefits for us, he said.

Last year in February, Boniface-Hiers sold 31 new, this year it was 82, realizing a 164% increase.

According to Craig Suntrup, The stars aligned over the past month to bring the four brands Hyundai, Kia, VW & Nissan together as the top-performing franchises in the state and all under one organization.

As the auto industry recovers from 2 difficult years, Suntrup never withdrew from the market as others had, said Richard Brauns, partner at JKR Advertising, Suntrup’s agency of record. While others are just getting their footing back, Suntrup is in stride with a good solid kick to the pace, they never let up he added.
